What you’ll accomplish

  • Understand owner, manager, and staff defaults.
  • Invite within the plan limit.
  • Use Pro custom permissions.
  • Predict downgrade behavior.

Limits

  • Lite: one additional active staff account.
  • Pro: up to five additional active staff accounts.
  • The owner never consumes a staff slot.
  • Creation and reactivation take a store-scoped transaction lock so concurrent invitations cannot exceed the limit.

Permissions

Owners have full access. Managers receive operational access without wallet movement, withdrawals, staff administration, domains, or core settings by default. Staff start with orders and support. Pro custom roles can adjust allowed operational areas.

After a downgrade

Assignments are retained for audit and future reactivation. The oldest allowed active non-owner assignments keep access up to the Lite limit; excess assignments default-deny. Owners keep access. Deactivation is effective on the next request on web and mobile.

If the result is not what you expected

  • If an invitation hits the limit, deactivate an unused assignment or upgrade; do not create a shared login.
  • If a staff member sees Forbidden, check both their role permission and the store's current plan entitlement.
  • A deactivated user or assignment cannot authenticate through an old mobile token.
