Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vacto, an online platform that lets social-commerce sellers create a branded storefront, manage products and orders, and take orders via WhatsApp, cash on delivery, and manual payment methods.

By creating a Vacto account, requesting a store, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Vacto on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business.

1. What Vacto is

Vacto is software that helps independent sellers run an online store. We provide the storefront, theme builder, product catalog, order management, seller dashboard, and tools to collect orders and manual payments.

Vacto is a technology provider, not the seller of the products listed on stores and not a party to the sale between a store and its customers. Each seller operates their own independent business.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be old enough to enter a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.
• You may sign in with email and password, an email code, or Google. You are responsible for the security of any linked account.

3. The platform's role

Vacto provides the tools; sellers run their stores. We do not set product prices, fulfil orders, deliver goods, or handle customer service on a seller's behalf unless a specific paid service says otherwise.

Vacto does not hold customer funds. Customer payments (cash on delivery, InstaPay, e-wallets) are made directly to the seller using the seller's own details, unless a future online-payment feature with its own terms applies.

4. No guarantee of results

We work hard to keep the platform reliable, but we do not guarantee any specific level of sales, traffic, revenue, or business success. Your results depend on your products, pricing, marketing, and service.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

5. Acceptable use

You must use Vacto lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited products, fraud, infringement, and abusive behaviour are not allowed and may lead to removal or suspension.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, trials, and invoices are governed by the Payment & Billing Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Non-payment may pause or suspend your store and dashboard access.

7. Intellectual property

The Vacto platform, software, brand, and design are owned by Vacto and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform while your account is in good standing.

You keep ownership of the content you upload (store name, logo, product images, descriptions). By uploading content, you grant Vacto a licence to host, display, and process it so we can operate your store and the platform. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload.

8. Suspension and termination

We may review, limit, suspend, or remove a store or account that violates these Terms or our policies, that creates legal or security risk, or that remains unpaid.

You may stop using Vacto at any time. Some obligations (for example, amounts owed, and the responsibility for orders already placed by your customers) continue after your account ends.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vacto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform.

Vacto is not responsible for the products, fulfilment, delivery, refunds, or customer service of any store. Disputes about an order are between the customer and the seller.

10. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and may ask you to accept the new version. Continuing to use Vacto after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing context

Vacto is built for sellers operating in Egypt and the wider MENA region. These Terms are intended to be read in that context. Nothing here removes rights you may have under mandatory local consumer or commercial law.
