Seller Agreement
Your responsibilities as a Vacto seller for products, pricing, delivery and customer service.
Last updated: May 30, 2026Version v1Effective May 30, 2026
This Seller Agreement applies to everyone who operates a store on Vacto. It works alongside our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Payment & Billing Policy.
As a Vacto seller, you run an independent business. Vacto provides the software; you are responsible for what you sell and how you serve your customers.
1. You own your business
You are solely responsible for your products, pricing, inventory, delivery, fulfilment, returns, and customer service. Orders placed on your store are contracts between you and your customer.
Vacto is not the seller and is not a party to these sales.
2. Accurate store and payment details
- Provide accurate store information, contact details, and product descriptions.
- Keep your payment details (for example, your InstaPay handle or wallet number shown to customers) correct and under your control.
- Do not display payment details that do not belong to you or that you are not authorised to use.
3. Authorisation and compliance
- You confirm you own or are authorised to operate the store and to sell the products listed.
- You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, advertising, product safety, taxes, and licensing.
- You are responsible for collecting and remitting any taxes that apply to your sales. Vacto does not calculate, collect, or remit your taxes for you.
4. Prohibited products and conduct
You must not list prohibited or illegal products or engage in conduct banned by our Acceptable Use Policy. Doing so may lead to immediate removal or suspension.
5. Manual payment confirmation
If you accept manual payments (InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, and similar) from customers, you are responsible for confirming whether payment was actually received before treating an order as paid or shipping it.
Vacto provides tools to record references and proof, but the confirmation decision and any related risk are yours.
6. Vacto may review and act
Vacto may review stores, products, and content, and may reject, limit, pause, suspend, or remove a store that violates our policies, that creates legal or security risk, or whose subscription is unpaid.
Where practical we will tell you why, but we may act immediately to protect customers, other sellers, or the platform.
7. Subscriptions and trials
Your access to seller features depends on an active plan or trial as described in the Payment & Billing Policy. If a subscription lapses, your store and dashboard access may be paused or suspended.
8. Customer data you receive
When you receive customer order details, you become responsible for handling that data lawfully and only for fulfilling the order and legitimate, related communication. Do not misuse customer data or share it improperly.
