Create the product
- 1
Open Products.
Choose Add product from the store dashboard.
- 2
Enter the product name and description.
Use the wording customers will see. Include size, material, care, or compatibility details that affect the purchase.
- 3
Set the regular price.
Enter the customer-facing amount in EGP.
- 4
Set an offer only when it is real.
Turn on the sale/offer control and enter the lower offer price. Vacto stores the higher regular value as the compare-at (old) price and charges the lower price.
- 5
Choose a category.
You may leave the product unassigned, but a relevant category helps customers browse the storefront.
- 6
Set Active and Featured.
Active controls whether the product can appear and be ordered. Featured controls placement in theme sections that display featured products.
- 7
Choose the inventory mode.
Use Simple stock, Product variants, or Do not track stock. Variant options can be added after the product exists.
- 8
Save the product.
If you selected variants, reopen the saved product and build the option combinations.
Add and order images
- 1
Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP files.
Vacto validates the real file type before storing the image in the store-owned R2 upload area.
- 2
Wait for each upload to finish.
Do not close the product editor or press Save while an image still shows upload progress.
- 3
Choose the primary image and reorder the gallery.
The primary image is used on product cards and as the order snapshot when the order is created.
- 4
Save after the gallery is correct.
Check the storefront card and product detail page after saving.
Plan limits and archiving
The product limit applies to active, non-archived products and is resolved from the store's current plan plus active product add-ons. The Plan usage card shows the limit for that store. Use the Extra 200 products add-on from Billing when it is available for the account.
Archive a product when it should leave the active catalog without erasing order history. Existing orders keep their saved product name, price, image, and variant details even if the catalog product later changes or is removed.
